The Rotontek NW-20TLD Electric Landing Gear for Semi Trailers is designed for use with all types of semi-trailers. Vehicles must provide a 24 V electrical supply and be fused with at least 15 A (minimum cable cross-section 2.5 mm²) to ensure the safe operation of the electric landing gear and reliable function of the semi trailer landing legs.
What happens if the motor stops running?
In the event of motor failure, manual cranking remains an option, allowing operators to safely move the electric powered jack and maintain control over the trailer support jack system.
How is power supplied to the NW-20TLD Electric landing gear for semi trailers?
The power of our electric jack for trailers is provided via a 24 V battery protected by at least 15 A (minimum 2.5 mm² cable). If direct connection to the trailer is not possible, a spiral cable can link the truck and trailer. Rotontek recommends using the 15-pole connector (pin 4 + pin 9) per ISO 12098 to guarantee proper operation of the landing gear semi trailer components.
